ABOUT
I am a Professional Architectural Technologist with nearly a decade of experience working across South Africa and Namibia, driven by a deep curiosity about how architecture shapes the way we live, feel, and move through space.

My journey into architecture began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Namibia University of Science and Technology, later evaluated by SAQA for practice in South Africa. I am registered with SACAP and a member of SAIA, grounding my work in professional responsibility while allowing space for exploration, creativity, and growth.
But for me, architecture has always been more than compliance, drawings, or construction.
It is about experience.
Architecture as Experience
I believe good design begins long before pen meets paper.
It starts with listening — to people, to place, to context.
Every project carries its own rhythm, constraints, and opportunities, and meaningful architecture emerges when these are understood holistically.
My work often explores the psychological impact of space:
how texture can evoke memory,
how scale and proportion influence comfort,
how light, weight, and materiality quietly shape emotion.
Whether a space feels calm, grounded, uplifting, or intimate is never accidental. These qualities are designed — through intention, balance, and restraint.
Process-Driven, Human-Centred
I approach design as a process rather than a fixed outcome. From concept development to technical resolution, I value clarity, adaptability, and thoughtful problem-solving. I enjoy the space where creativity meets practicality — where ideas are tested, refined, and translated into buildable, durable solutions.
My experience includes residential and commercial projects, construction detailing, coordination with consultants, and hands-on involvement from early concept through to documentation and execution. A background in furniture, window, and door manufacturing has further shaped my understanding of materials, tolerances, and real-world construction logic.
Digital tools such as Revit, Archicad, Lumion, Twinmotion, D5 Render and more, play a key role in my workflow, not as ends in themselves, but as tools to test ideas, communicate intent, and explore atmosphere before anything is built.

Design Philosophy
I am drawn to architecture that feels honest — spaces that are not overdesigned, but carefully considered.
I value balance: between heavy and light, open and enclosed, natural and built. Nature remains a constant reference point in my thinking, offering lessons in proportion, rhythm, and spatial harmony that no trend can replace.
Architecture, at its best, should support life quietly.
It should allow people to inhabit spaces intuitively, comfortably, and meaningfully.
